There are also a few that would make decent Arbites/Judge Dredd stand-ins ( GZG, Eureka). Their "Combat Babe" (I don't pick the names, I just report them) line might also work for 40K (CB-08 and CB-10 in particular) and despite the name, the sculpts appear reasonable and fully armored. Their "Mobile Suit Girls" line might work, though the sculpts on the heads are a little over the top for my tastes ( GZG, Eureka). A Power Suit consists two parts: the Inner Body Suit and the Powered Suit. Here are examples from the Eureka site: NSL, FSE, ESU and NAC (bonus: pics of NAC power armor from the GZG site). The Power Suit is a Powered armor utilized by the United Citizen Federation during the Second Bug War. If you have some spare plastic purity seals and other bits from a marine sprue laying around even better. Similarly, there are sculpts that may work in the NSL armored infantry line ( GZG, Eureka), in particular SGN-10B, SGN-10D, SGN-14A, SGN-16A, SGN-18B, and SGN-18D.įrankly, the actual "power armor" sculpts from any of their Stargrunt lines would also work, as they are realistically bulked up so you can't tell what is inside. It will likely be cheaper to order from GZG if you are in the USA. Oddly GZG does not have pictures of all of the sculpts on their site, but Eureka Miniatures in Austrailia carries their line and does have pics. Their UNSC hardsuit line has several female sculpts. Ground Zero Games has some options that might work, though finding something suitably baroque for 40K might be tricky. Well, the Rogue Trader might, but that's just because most power armored fighters are never sculpted with a sense of fashion. There's also a couple of NPC armsmen and techno-ferals, a withered old navigator with a walking stick, and the dashingly generic Rogue Trader, but I doubt those will be an issue. I'm considering the Reaper female marine mini for her, although that gun is absurd even for 40k. There's the gypsy witch who has been given a pass by the inquisition solely because she has met the gaze of the Emperor and was found worthy, and the overly business-like Seneschal-ess / sniper. We have an escaped pitfighter close combat specialist with a liking for blunt power-assisted weaponry.
#Steam power armor full
I mean, doesn't it defeat the point of servo-assisted lifting?īesides that one mini from Hasselfree, are there any other heavily armored female sci-fi minis, anywhere? Heck, at this point I'd be willing to settle for reasonably characterful and non-cheesecake sci-fi female minis. Use these commands and the following item IDs to spawn parts of power armor, a full set of power armor and some other related items. I'm not even sure how powered belly armor even works. Or, in Games Workshop's case, Barbra Streisand haircuts. All the rest are heavy power armor with bare midrifts and thongs. In a night of Googling, I've found precisely one female mini with practical power armor, not counting steam-powered Warcasters.
#Steam power armor driver
An unfortunate encounter with shard spiders and a Rhino who's driver failed a morale check convinced them that Carapace just isn't enough. I've run into two problems with this plan.įirst, the group is going shopping for heavier armor during their next session. I did some basic testing, but I wouldn't call it 'extensive', so please drop a comment if you see any issues. To celebrate my Rogue Trader group surviving their first voyage, and to complement the incoming pile of Kickstarted minis, I've been shopping for appropriate miniatures to represent the PCs, and possibly their ship.
#Steam power armor mod
I found myself wanting something like this in my current playthrough and didn't see a mod that already did it. Textures in this mod are not original and are low-effort edits of other people's work.
#Steam power armor upgrade
(Which is why you can't upgrade the VPE Prestige Plate Armor) This does not play nice with stuffable armors. If you're not already using a mod that allows this it can change the balance of the game. These recipes will also 'untaint' any tainted armor used as materials. Prestige recipes will include Eltex if you're using Vanilla Psycasts Expanded.īeware that this does not preserve the quality of the source armor, for better or for worse. Health for armor isn't as good either if you can kill enemies better or better damage protection. Seems all other uses for it are pretty obselete like explosive protection (most enemies don't use explosives in the commonwealth). This adds recipes to upgrade regular powered armor and helmets into their alternate and prestige versions. Personally i've seen enough discussion and my own 2 cents to say: for paints military and prism paint shielding for best overall protection or military for strength.
